Welcome to the National City Sentinel! The Sentinel was originally founded as a personal website for myself, Scott
Presslak. During high school, the Sentinel changed functions and was constructed as a virtual forum under the
pretexts of being an online newspaper for a fictional metropolis, National City. The lore of National City is quite
detailed and almost entirely why I chose to pursue a career in Urban Planning and Transportation Management. The
Sentinel today serves as a hybrid site, mainly reverting back to a personal and professional website while maintaining
some content from the lighter side as well as some creative content from the "citizens" of National City, i.e. my
friends and classmates. Use the links on the left side of this page to navigate the National City Sentinel.
so hot right now...
Not just a whistle stop town
A low-down (or hoe-down, rather) driving tour of Itasca.
Buses are for losers... and communists
Father waves a lot, Mother gets road rage, some geese chill out in
a field, Jenny's bored, and Paul's still waiting for the bus. An
instant classic.
